We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join Hawku, the largest game NFT marketplace on Polygon. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the web3 gaming industry and a deep understanding of the NFT market, with a proven track record in business development.
About the Role:
You will be helping lead our business development team - contacting, establishing and maintaining relationships with web3 gaming companies.
You will be playing a key role in Hawku’s growth as it adds new games and other utility/gaming tokens, ensuring we have the top marketplace possible for our game and NFT creator partners.
This is a rare opportunity to get in very early in a fully-remote venture building a product thousands of players love with huge growth potential.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through partnerships and collaborations with game developers and publishers.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including game creators, players, guilds, and potential partners - ensuring Hawku is the preferred marketplace and solves their marketplace needs.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure a seamless user experience for game creators and players and collectors
Constantly experiment with more effective ways to help bring on and maintain key NFT games and get their players to engage with the Hawku marketplace.
Engage players and creators in web3 gaming communities and identify key pain points that a Hawku implementation can solve.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
2+ years of experience in business development or a related role, with a focus on the web3 gaming industry
Strong understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and the NFT market
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self motivated & able to be productive in a fully remote work environment
Passion for the gaming and NFT industries and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving market

Hawku has created the leading game marketplace on Polygon, focusing on tokens valued by their real-time data. It is the primary NFT marketplace for leading Polygon games like ZED.run, The Red Village and Rebel Bots. Its specialty is helping people research, buy, and sell NFTs based on real-time data making buying and selling a key part of the fun of the game. Since its launch in 2022, Hawku has facilitated over 85,000 NFT sales.

Compensation: Salary, equity and/or possibly tokens.
